Moulded by God
The soul of mine
poor and sinful

Like a bird alone on a roof
It’s true – I keep guard and wait
like a bird alone on a roof
but so The Holy Spirit led me
He led me over here.

shared the other’s joy
spoke the truth in their hearts
who did not look for praise from people
but laid all in God.
The blessed solitude
of the one who trusts in The Lord and The Lord is his love
The Lord will always raise him up.
The blessed spirit of the one rejoicing in God.
He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

In silence, in the desert– hide me
In silence
where I hear just what You said
and the creatures of Yours
like the little birds so happy around
all that beauty around that comes from You…
God, how beautiful it is over here!
Lord, I just need a bit of time
to comprehend it somehow
what is Your Will…
It’s true,
that sometimes we discover the path as we walk:
getting to know ourselves and Your Will
how You change us
and what could have been Your hope long laid in us
may I never again fail it.
In silence which opens me fully to You
hide me, Lord, to adore You
for all that beauty You created for us
until the end of my life
before I can say it to You
seeing You face to Face
and thank You for all Your love
for You in my life.
